OVERVIEW
Hitotsubashi University, EHL Hospitality Business School, & the National University of Singapore’s Institute of Real Estate and Urban Studies (IREUS) invite you to submit papers (or extended abstracts) to be considered for presentation at the 8th Hospitality Finance & Economics (HFE) Conference. The submitted papers may – but do not need to – display hospitality relevance.

TOPICS FOR PAPER SUBMISSION
We invite the submission of empirical/experimental papers and well-crafted case studies. Authors are requested to submit papers that have not been previously published or accepted for publication in any journal. We particularly welcome contributions from Ph.D. students in the advanced stages of their studies. While we accept extended abstracts, please note that full paper submissions will be required several weeks before the conference day.
The conference seeks to highlight, though not exclusively, topics in the realms of real estate and finance, including but not limited to:

• Implications of demographic changes for real estate markets
• Property bubble
• Impacts of the high inflation / high-interest rate regime
• Post-covid societal changes in real estate and hospitality
• Challenges regarding the transition to net zero
• Housing affordability
• ESG in investment, financing, development, and operations
• Data analytics & predictive modelling

ABOUT HITOTSUBASHI UNIVERSITY
